Do not get these. Audio like windchimes or clinking glasses tends to seem a bit muffled.The only plus to these headphones is they're comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, though on my 3rd hour, I started to feel pinching on my earlobes.
The only problem is they really are. I really did think acceptable audio would come out of these headsets and I was proven horribly wrong.Audio quality is disappointing to say the least.
I really, really wanted to get my hands on a set of Skullcandys because 1- they look nice and 2- I figured they cant possibly be as bad as everyone says they are. The Ti could not produce significant bass from ANY of them.
It lacks crispness and has virtually no bass whatsoever. I've tried every audio device I own, including Sandisk sansas, a 1st gen Ipod nano (purportedly better audio than 2nd), a 2nd gen ipod touch and a Cowon multimedia player (the player of choice for audiophiles).
With a little readjustment though they were fine.This is coming from someone who has been longing for a set of Skullcandy headsets for over two years. I would not have bought these if I had known how poor the sound is.
The headband cracked within a month of purchase. I have sent a request for replacement to Skullcandy and am waiting for a reply. I am concerned that even with a replacement, the headband may crack again, because the headphones fit very tightly, so a lot of stress is put on the headband when the earphones are pulled apart to put the headphones on. As far as look and sound, the headphones are nice, hence two stars for this item instead of one.
These headphones sound good as long as you set your eq to how you want to hear your music. Save that precious hearing and turn it down a little people. These headphones may not be the best headphones in the world, but they are very well made and sound great. 3 hours for me is usually enough for an hour or two. The extra cone covers with the fur are also awesome for people in cold weathered areas because it doubles ear muffins. They also look great and feel good. That's a problem, but really, if you care about who is hearing your music you should turn it down a little.
These headphones look great too. People saying that they don't have enough bass don't have their eq set properly and need to reevaluate. On the other hand the noise reduction is awesome, at least I think it is. Granted if you have them on your head for several hours straight they tend to hurt a little, but really, how much music do you need to listen to straight through. The only thing that is a problem and it has been mentioned is the fact that everyone and their mother can hear your music when you turn it up. I always get comments on how awesome they look and the fur makes it that much more sexy. Great buy.

Nice headphones that bump. Super tight wit the fur and super comffy. Only thing is not that heavy of base and could be louder.THIZZ OR DIE
